XR Design
This parafictional project revives the fabricated story of Agnes Carr, a fictional beggar woman accused of witchcraft in 16th-century Wensleydale.
Set against the backdrop of ideological manipulation and historical erasure, Agnes’s narrative explores how societies construct and distort truth, drawing parallels to contemporary issues of misinformation and deep fakes.

Using AI-driven software and Unreal Engine, the collective created an immersive online exhibition that deliberately blurs the line between fact and fiction, reflecting the fluidity of truth in the digital age. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, the project probes the role of ideology in shaping history and challenges viewers to reconsider the impact of AI, deep fakes, and the evolving technological horizon on our understanding of reality. Through the fictional lens of Agnes Carr, the project invites audiences to confront the fragility of historical and contemporary narratives.
